Complaining women/unreasonable ushers

Fire were Nas and (especially) Failure!!

When Nas came out to perform, my girlfriend and I got out of our seats to dance and sing along. Unfortunately, the experience was marred by a group of older women sitting five rows behind us. These women yelled at us to sit down because they claimed they could not see over us. I asked the usher if it was policy that ticket holders could not stand during the performance, and she said no. After some back and forth, we ultimately decided to take the path of least resistance and sit throughout the set. It’s not much fun trying to rock out to the likes of Nas and Failure while glued to your seat. My girlfriend and I looked to the rest of the section for support, but everyone just shrugged off the request. When we explained to them that this was a hip hop concert, they got an usher’s attention and told her to make us sit down. All love for the performers, but I am reluctant to attend another show at Barclays if that is their policy regarding dancing at a concert.
